Things are going to be pretty intense and exciting as the all new episode of the hit TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ promises good stories for every viewer and fan out there. So if you are for a spoiler-filled article, then this one is for you. Enjoy!
The Season 12 synopsis for the upcoming episode, titled “Odd Man Out,” reveals Dr. Weber (James Pickens Jr.) will shake up Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital when he shuffles the residents around. And yes, you guessed it; Jo ends up working alongside Meredith when the swap occurs. Because Jo is new to working with Meredith, she isn’t as familiar with Meredith’s patients as Penny (Samantha Sloyan) was — and Meredith makes sure to let Jo know that when her newest resident messes up.
When Dr. Weber found out about the budding relationship between Alex and Jo, he changes things up to still keep professionalism between the team. And this resulted to Meredith being paired up with Jo. The two clearly are not in good terms as they keep on bantering.
“You’re just not Blake,” Meredith says clearly annoyed with her appointed resident.
“No, I’m not Blake. I’m Wilson. Jo Wilson,” she fires back in the sneak-peek video. “I’m a surgeon. I’m a human being I’m not some stupid lump that you can just kick around or talk down to or talk down about or dismiss and discount. I get it … you don’t like me. But I’m here. I’m in Alex’s (Justin Chambers) life and you have to start respecting that.”
Many fans were even speculating about Meredith being attracted to Alex, that even her therapist questioned her about it. Meredith laughed at the idea, revealing that the two of them were just friends. And that’s when it clicked that maybe she was relying on Alex too much for comfort.
