“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 14 appears to be a heartbreaking story for Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone). The trailer for the upcoming release saw a massive drug overdose plaguing Seattle and among the victims is none other than Betty/Brittany (Peyton Kennedy).
While the clip didn’t confirm if the young mom will indeed die, a lot of hints are pointing towards that direction. The most convincing among these is Amelia crying, with Mer (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) ready to comfort their friend in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 14.
If Brittany dies, then this could be the final straw for Owen and Amelia’s relationship. The couple is in a really bad place right now with the Dickinsons posing a legal threat, Leo needing every care, and a fight that has yet to be resolved complicating everything. “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 14 could also have Owen lose his guardianship of Leo towards the Dickinson or relinquish it altogether.
Sure, he may be the legal guardian now, but Owen has been portrayed as a perceptive character. If the Dickinsons lose their daughter and Leo in the same breath, then that could lead them to a very dark path. This is especially true since they will no doubt blame themselves if Brittany passes. Hopefully, “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 14 can mend the growing rift between Amelia and Owen since both of them needs someone to lean into at the moment.
But the next release will not be all heartbreaks. Jackson (Jesse Williams) will try to convince Maggie to go camping with him, while Nico (Alex Landi) and Jake Borelli’s romance continues to blossom. As for the release date of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 14, it’s been scheduled to drop on Feb. 21. With everything that’s been said above, fans should expect a roller coaster of a story that might prove to be this installment’s best entry yet.
