The synopsis for “Breakfast In Bed” posted on TV Guide reads, “A mysterious Wesen turns sleepless nights into pure insanity. The investigation begins when Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) are called to a local hotel where a grisly murder has taken place, which leads them to a guest who claims to be haunted by a frightening creature.
Meanwhile, at the Spice Shop, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) continue to research the origins of the symbols on the cloth; and Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) finds it difficult to escape his past transgressions.”
The upcoming episode is set to feature a terrifying Wesen that prowls at night. The promo for episode 6 hints at a nightmarish creature out to frighten and torment people on the moments as they fall asleep. Nick and his allies must race to subdue the Wesen before it takes more innocent lives.
The Portland police team will be involved in the investigation of a murder at a local hotel and will soon discover its supernatural roots. The promo shows a person coming face to face with the dangerous Wesen threatening to consume him.
The previous episode, titled "The Seven Year Itch," featured a ravenous cicada-like Wesen that came out of years of hibernation to feast on humans. According to Christian Times, the creature emerges every seven years to hunt down its preys. The monster turned out to be Portland’s very own founding father William Stillman.
Meanwhile, Monroe, Rosalee and Eve will be doing another investigation of their own. They will be at the Spice Shop researching the origins of the mysterious symbols on the cloth and it seems that they may be getting closer to finding some real answers.
‘Grimm’ season 6’s episode 6, titled “Breakfast In Bed,” is scheduled to air on NBC on February 10, 2017. It was directed by Julie Herlocker and written by Kyle McVey. It will be followed by episode 7, titled "Blind Love," scheduled for February 17.
