Guess & Co. Corporation has entered the energy market with the launch of its Energy Group unit. The Energy Group unit replaces the Company's previous Luxury Group unit. Guess & Co. Corporation's Energy Group businesses will include electric power, nuclear power, oil & gas, renewables and drilling/exploration operations. "As we look to revitalize communities while serving government and private sector customers and clients, we decided that it was best to launch a dedicated group for energy in order to deliver the best solutions possible," the Company issued in a statement. The team for the new unit will collaborate with those for industrial, health care and real estate to develop and market multi-faceted integrated energy platforms. Guess & Co. Corporation's four business units are now: the Energy Group, the Industrial Group, the Health Care Group and the Real Estate Group. The Company has assigned engineers and advisors with federal energy regulation experience to assist with the development of the new Energy Group.
