Data released so far 

  • Australia – Building permits rose by 3.7% in March, down -6.5% from a year back.      
  • China – Caixin manufacturing PMI declined to 49.4 in April, from 49.7 prior.

Upcoming 

  • Australia – RBA will announce interest rate decision at 4:30 GMT. Budget will be announce at 9:30 GMT.
  • Switzerland – SECO consumer climate will be announced at 5:45 GMT.
  • United Kingdom – Markit manufacturing PMI will be released at 8:30 GMT.
  • Euro Zone – Producer price index report for March will be released at 9:00 GMT.
  • India – Fiscal deficit and construction output may get announced today.
  • United States – Redbook index will be released at 12:55 GMT, followed by ISM New York at 13:45 GMT and TIPP economic optimism at 14:00 GMT. FOMC member Mester is scheduled to speak at 14:30 GMT. FED’s Lockhart will speak at 23:00 GMT.
  • Canada – BOC governor Poloz is scheduled to speak at 16:30 GMT.
  • New Zealand – Employment report will be published at 22:45 GMT.
  • Australia – AIG services index will be released at 23:30 GMT.
