  • Japan – Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Kuroda is scheduled to speak at 3:30 GMT. Tertiary industry index will be released at 4:30 GMT.

 

  • Germany – CPI for April will be released at 6:00 GMT. Prior 0.1% y/y. First quarter GDP will be released at same time. Prior 2.1% y/y.

 

  • France – Non-farm payrolls will be released at 6:45 GMT.

 

  • Spain – HICP for April will be released at 7:00 GMT.

 

  • Italy – First quarter GDP will be released at 8:00 GMT, along with CPI. Prior growth 1%

 

  • UK – MPC member Andy Haldane is scheduled to speak at 9:00 GMT. MPC member Weale will speak at 12:30 GMT.

 

  • Greece – First quarter GDP will be released at 9:00 GMT. Prior -0.8%.

 

  • Canada – New housing price index will be released at 12:30 GMT.

  • United States - Retail sales and Producer price index will be released at 12:30 GMT. In March retail sales grew -0.3%. Michigan consumer sentiment scheduled at 14:00 GMT. Prior 89.
