Gwen Stefani is reportedly responsible for making Blake Shelton a better person. The “Happy Anywhere” country singer was said to have cut back on drinking and clubbing with his friends, and this was because his partner of five years has kept him in check by putting a leash on him.
The fun-loving guy turned home buddy and responsible
In a report that appeared on the National Enquirer, it was claimed that Blake Shelton usually goes out with his close pals Trace Adkins and Luke Bryan. They hang around a lot in bars to have fun, but this allegedly changed when the 44-year-old singer started dating Gwen Stefani.
With the “Hollaback Girl” songstress coming into their friend’s life, things have changed. Bryan and Trace rarely ever see Blake these days.
“But we know why. He’s trying to show Gwen he can be a responsible person, and a good husband and stepfather to her kids,” Blake’s pals reportedly told the magazine. “Blake wanted to be someone Gwen will be proud of!”
It was added that Blake Shelton knows that being in a committed relationship, there will always be issues that the partners must resolve for their relationship to work. But he realized that all Gwen Stefani was asking from him was to set a good example to her three sons with Gavin Rossdale.
Gwen Stafani really changed Blake Shelton that he even had to move from Oklahoma to L.A. although it was not easy for him. The source shared that the couple purchased a $13.2 million mansion in California where they will settle.
“This is a big step for them!” the tipster snitched. “It wasn’t long after they moved in that Blake realized he had to learn to make major compromises.”
The source went on to say that Gwen Stefani likes a certain way where she makes Blake Shelton take off his boots every time he walks through the door, he has to eat with the family at set times, and he can’t leave his keys on the counter. Despite these demands, Blake doesn’t complain and just follow.
The truth
Gossip Cop insists this is a false story. There is no truth in the claim that Gwen Stefani put a leash on Blake Shelton and tamed him.
The publication pointed out that in this time of the pandemic, it is natural that the country singer can’t hang out with his friends in a bar anymore
and besides, he is busy with his projects that there is no time spare time to have fun. The gossip police outlet also reiterated that the National Enquirer is not a reliable source of news thus, this is another one of those inaccurate stories that it publishes.
