Harley-Davidson’s 2026 retail target is now 135,500 to 139,000 motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson Motor Company (HDMC) is forecast to earn $25 million to $55 million in operating income for 2026. CEO Arthur Starrs pointed to domestic retail performance, improved dealer economics and portfolio changes as signs of progress, saying the company was in the first year of Back to the Bricks.
The company’s third-quarter results showed worldwide retail motorcycle sales up 5%, including a 9% gain in North America. Shipments fell 8% to 33,616 motorcycles, and dealer inventories of new motorcycles were 26% below a year earlier. EconoTimes covered the results in an earlier report on Harley-Davidson’s third quarter.
The company said lower deliveries to dealers supported dealer health while bringing factory shipments closer to retail demand. Its wider 2026 outlook also included a $60 million to $70 million operating-income forecast for Harley-Davidson Financial Services, while LiveWire withdrew its guidance.
