“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11 is not out yet as the series is currently on a midseason break. It will return with its second half in 2019 and only 11 episodes are remaining before the ninth installment concludes.
“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11 is called “Hala i ke ala o'i'ole mai” and if translated it means “Gone on the Road from which There Is No Returning.” The story will focus on Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) as he goes after the group who killed Joe White (Terry O’Quinn) and Tim Cole (Brad Beyer). It became clear that they were killed by hired assassins and Agent Greer may have a connection to their deaths as well.
In the midseason’s finale which was episode 10, McGarrett was devastated when Joe, his father figure and lifesaver, has died in his arms after an intense firefight in the retired Navy Seal’s ranch. He now vows to avenge his death and bring down who’s responsible.
There were hints that the main person who ordered to annihilate the entire Morocco team was the Arab boy who McGarrett and Joe let go since he was just a kid when they run after his criminal father. That boy grew up and suspected to have paid Agent Greer for their names and then hired a professional hit team to kill those who killed his father. That boy is not a terrorist but someone who clearly wants revenge.
As per CBS press release, “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11’s synopsis reads: “Still reeling from the murder of one of their ohana, Steve and Catherine (Michelle Borth), along with Danny (Scott Caan), Junior (Beulah Koale) and some old friends, Harry Langford (Chris Vance) and Wade Gutches (David Keith), hunt down the killer.”
Moreover, “Tani (Meaghan Rath) and Grover (Chi McBride) investigate when a bag of human bones, discovered inside an abandoned storage locker goes missing.”
“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11 was directed by Carl Weathers and written by Matt Wheeler and David Wolkove. It will return on Jan. 4, 2019 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
