Steve (Alex O’Loughlin) will be forming his own version of “Avengers” team in Montana on “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11 following the tragic death of his father figure, Joe White (Terry O’Quinn). With a team as formidable as this one, it is safe to bet they will be finishing the job or, at least, leave a mark in the first 2019 episode.
Previous teasers and reports confirmed Steve will be joined by Danny (Scott Caan), Junior (Beulah Koale), and Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11. Of the three, fans are likely most excited about Catherine’s involvement and considering her past with Steve.
The two almost got engaged if only fate had allowed it. Catherine is currently a Navy Lieutenant, which explains how Steve gains access to their resources such as the C-130 plane seen in the brief preview for “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11.
Meanwhile, the upcoming mission in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11 appears to be a chance where people from Steve’s Navy past to his present job to get meet another and work together for the first time. The first ones to arrive at the Montana airfield are Steve, Catherine, Junior, and Danny. The latter joked that they cannot even play basketball with their number. But that is also the cue for Wade Gutches’ (David Keith) entrance, whom Steve referred to as their “power forward.”
Danny is hesitant Wade can still keep up with them in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11. Catherine chimes in and admits that the former Navy SEAL commanding officer has been retired for some time but she is confident Wade “still got game.” Even Steve has some doubts but Gutch assured him that “going after the bastard that killed Joe … that’s about the only thing that could have pulled [him] from retirement.”
As mentioned, the team is going to be riding a C-130 and, of course, the person flying that thing must also be selected by Steve. This is going to be Wade’s first time meeting Frank Bama’s (Jimmy Buffett) daughter, Lucia Bama (Kristen Dalton), who will be their pilot in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11.
Steve and his team have a clear goal coming in to “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 11. And that is to track down and take out Joe’s killer. Catch this episode on Friday, Jan. 4, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
