NAPLES, Fla., April 10, 2018 -- HealthLynked Corp. (OTCQB:HLYK) today announced release of its latest software updates to the HealthLynked Network. The new features allow parents to create profiles for their children under the age of 18. Parents can now completely manage the personal health records of their children to assure their records are up to date and accurate by utilizing the HealthLynked Network services. Parents can “lynk” to their children’s healthcare providers to manage their appointments and share medical information with the healthcare providers they choose.
Once children reach the age of 18 they need to claim ownership of their profile in order to continue to be active in the HealthLynked Network. Both parents can share access to their children’s profiles allowing full interoperability and co-management for medical care and emergency situations that may arise.
HealthLynked CEO Dr. Michael Dent stated, “We recognize that management of our children’s health is of utmost importance and our latest software release addresses this need. Children rely on their parents to manage their healthcare and as children get older this need changes. A child’s personal health record managed by the parents can provide better healthcare and provide access to life-saving information when a child is at school or traveling away from home.”
