Huawei is pitching an upgraded data center network to European enterprises, saying it can keep computing services available when equipment fails as expanding facilities become harder for operators to manage.

The product, called Stellar Intelligent Ultra-Resilient Fabric, combines StarryWing Digital Map 2.0 with Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0. Huawei presented the upgrade at its Network Summit 2026 Europe in Florence and described it in an Oct. 19 announcement.

Huawei says the design removes single points of failure from data center networks. The company links the offering to rising demand for computing capacity and the difficulty of managing larger networks. It did not publish independent reliability results with the announcement.

Huawei included an account from KoçSistem as a deployment example. Mesut ÖZCA, Leader Solutions Manager at KoçSistem, said his company used StarryWing Digital Map across multiple data centers and kept computing services operating during localized hardware failures. The announcement did not give measured uptime for that deployment.

In a separate Oct. 16 announcement about its wider European networking range, Huawei said a design using its “100T” switches could support four times the network scale while requiring 30% fewer switches and optical modules. It also claimed 98% utilization of network links and a performance gain of more than 7% for AI training and inference. Huawei did not specify the comparison baseline or test configuration for those figures.

The fabric is part of a broader European network upgrade that also covers wide-area and campus systems. The Oct. 19 announcement focuses on the data center offering.

Huawei introduced a European data center fabric under the Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 name on Sept. 30, 2025. It also described upgrades involving Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0 and StarryWing Digital Map 2.0 at a Shanghai event on Sept. 17. Huawei has not announced European pricing or an availability date for the latest upgrade.
