The Hyperliquid (HYPE) token traded above $90 Thursday alongside a plan for Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and Trade.xyz to bring perpetual products into a U.S. market under regulation, a separate development in the same ecosystem.
At 9:16 a.m. ET (13:16 UTC), HYPE stood at $90.80, up 13.05% over 24 hours, according to CoinGecko and exchange spot data. At 7:37 a.m. ET (11:37 UTC), it was $85.95 after earlier trading above $87; EconoTimes’ earlier update recorded that move.
ICE is the parent of the New York Stock Exchange. The proposed effort remains unlaunched and centers on perpetual products for a U.S. market subject to regulation.
Within Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 ecosystem, Trade.xyz is a deployment team, and the ecosystem includes perpetual products linked to pre-IPO assets. Hyperliquid also runs a decentralized perpetual exchange, and HYPE is its associated token; the price move and U.S. market proposal are separate developments.
