Hdac Technology AG, a blockchain-based IoT contract platform backed by Hyundai, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dream Global Partners, establishing the foundation of a comprehensive collaborative partnership aimed at expanding and incorporating blockchain-based real estate enterprises around the world.
The companies held a business agreement ceremony on August 16th attended by Hdac Technology Korea CEO Michael Yoon and Dream Global Partner’s President Pietro A. Doran, along with other key executives and VIP guests.
Under the agreement, the companies will collaborate on the development and diversification of real estate projects based on the Hdac platform, build a global network of blockchain-based co-working “Innovation Centers”, establish blockchain-based smart city projects, and combine technical and marketing expertise to accelerate global initiatives.
The agreement also marks Hdac’s first step towards the expansion and commercialization of its blockchain platform.
“I anticipate that the collaboration with Dream Global Partners will be the first case to present Hdac’s technical potential to the market,” Michael Yoon, Hdac Technology Korea CEO, stated. “As of this point, Hdac will put all the efforts to commercialize our platform and as well as expand our ecosystem through incubation of DApp (Distributed Application) partners and through the business diversification.”
Dream Global Partners operates under its global trademark “DREAMChain” – a blockchain-based real estate platform. Its mission is to establish DREAMChain as a global trust platform which allows real estate-related enterprises and consumers to use it safely and efficiently. President Pietro A. Doran served as the first CEO of Morgan Stanley Korea Real Estate and led the development of Incheon's Songdo International Business District.
“Through Dream Global Partners’ exciting partnership with Hdac, the DREAMChain will now be able to draw upon Hdac’s exceptional blockchain technology expertise and its vast network industry resources to emerge as a paradigm-shifting global decentralized real estate movement to challenge the industry status quo,” Doran said.
Hdac and Dream Global Partners will be jointly participating in the ‘Realty Expo Korea 2018,’ a grand-scale global Real Estate exhibition that includes the world’s first “Real Estate Block Chain Forum,” to be held at COEX, Samsung, from 19 - 21 September. Hdac will be sponsoring the event and exhibit its IoT Smart home solution ‘HERIOT,’ which it plans to commercialize on a global scale.
