IKEA aims to achieve 100 percent zero emissions for home deliveries by 2025 with the help of Its Indian logistics partner GATI-KWE.
According to IKEA, after beginning to use two electric vehicles for deliveries from its Hyderabad store in 2019, which contributed to 2 percent of all home deliveries, it now makes has 61 percent of its deliveries through electric vehicles.
With its partnership with GATI-KWE as its logistics partner beginning in 2018, IKEA was able to manage home deliveries of its products to customer homes across Telangana.
GATI-KWE used an environment-friendly fleet to deliver products to its customers to prove the viability of smart green solutions in the Indian logistics sector.
IKEA debuted in India in 2018 with a 13-acre complex in Hyderabad.
