Van Nuys, California, July 27, 2017 -- The IRS on Thursday, July 27, released a solicitation in which it outlined plans to bring on a certified small business contractor to provide scanning services. These services, according to the solicitation, include scanning 850 boxes of evidentiary documents for the IRS Criminal Investigation Van Nuys Field Office.
According to the IRS, the documents include tax return documents, miscellaneous tax prep notes, and identification documents, which are located in Van Nuys and Woodland Hills. Also according to the solicitation, the IRS only will consider bids from certified small businesses.
The IRS invites interested and capable contractors to to submit bids, which are due by no later than August 23 at 11 a.m. PST. For more information, e-mail Contract Specialist LaTanya Evans-Tate at [email protected].
The contractor who receives this contract must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
