The immersive adventure transports viewers alongside Transformers: The Last Knight director Michael Bay, cast and crew shooting the film across Scotland and England. Featuring heart-racing action, battle and racing scenes, the piece was shot with proprietary Holor Certified pro cameras.
The 360-video is a breakthrough from traditional behind-the-scenes coverage. "Being on set with Bay every day and shooting these epic scenes was incredible," Transformers Co-Producer Michael Kase explained. "Now viewers can share the same visceral experience like never before. This is leaps and bounds from traditional framed video and brings excitement and real feeling of presence."
“We are proud to present our first Transformers: The Last Knight behind-the-scenes 360-video,” said Holor CEO and co-founder, Euan Macdonald. “360 and mixed reality content is a tremendous opportunity for major films to evolve and improve the behind-the-scenes and special feature viewing experience. It is the future of cinematic marketing.”
The 360-video in promotion of Transformers: The Last Knight debuts June 17 at 12:01am PDT on Facebook (Transformers, Paramount Pictures and Holor pages), the Samsung VR platform, the Transformers, Paramount, and Holor YouTube channels and on Holor.com. Holor is currently developing an interactive 360-video toolset and platform that integrates with existing social media platforms that support 360-video. This behind-the-scenes 360-video for Transformers: The Last Knight will be available on the Holor platform in its beta release later this year. Transformers: The Last Knight debuts in theaters nationwide June 21.

About Transformers: The Last Knight
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
