Indonesia’s domestic demand remains lacklustre

The DMO guarantees supply availability to domestic power and coal-dependent industries.

Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recently revised the DMO for 2015 to 92mt from 110mt due to delays at power-plant projects.

80% of the coal allocation will be for power plants, 11% for cement plants and the remainder for other industries.

"Only 79mt is expected to be consumed domestically this year", says Societe Generale.
