Informa Pharma Intelligence and The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine Partner to Promote Education on Rapidly Advancing Regenerative Therapies

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2017 -- Informa Pharma Intelligence and The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM), the preeminent global advocate for gene therapy, cell therapy and the broader regenerative medicine sector, announced an expansion to their partnership to advance awareness and understanding of regenerative medicine and its potentially transformative impact on healthcare and society.

Informa Pharma Intelligence analysts and tools provide comprehensive insight into global clinical trials, drug development pipelines and the regenerative medicine marketplace. While still rapidly evolving, regenerative medicine has made huge advances in recent years both in the United States and globally. This year, for the first time, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Novartis’ cell-based immuno-oncological CAR-T therapy, clearing a new treatment that has produced unprecedented results in pediatric and young adult patients with refractory/relapse acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Others in the industry will likely soon follow. Through the partnership, Informa Pharma Intelligence and ARM will work to educate those in the space and the broader public, in an effort to define the new field and broaden awareness of its immense value, potential to improve health outcomes and significant societal benefits.
