Investcorp Holdings ended FY26 with about $64 billion in assets under management (AUM) on June 30, while Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer Rishi Kapoor told The National fundraising exceeded $7 billion.
Investcorp Capital’s FY26 annual report put Investcorp Holdings’ AUM at approximately $64 billion on June 30, 2026. The report says the total includes assets managed by third parties. Kapoor told The National the figure was slightly above a $63 billion AUM target.
A March 2026 company presentation listed AUM of $62.3 billion as of Dec. 31, 2025. The annual report linked private-market pressures during FY26 to geopolitical uncertainty and elevated interest rates. It said transactions and valuations faced pressure, investments stayed in portfolios longer, and exits slowed.
Investcorp reported more than $1.25 billion in commitments on March 5, 2026, across its second GP-staking fund and related vehicles. The total comprised $1.1 billion committed to the fund and $155 million for co-investments. On Oct. 1, the firm announced that commitments to its second North American private equity fund reached $1.22 billion, above the $1.1 billion target.
Investcorp identified the REDA Gulf Holding acquisition on Oct. 27 as the fifth investment by its Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund. The fund took part through a consortium, the company said.
Kapoor told The National that U.S. and European markets accounted for 90% of Investcorp’s investment activity, while sources outside the Gulf provided more than 75% of fundraising. He did not specify the period covered by those figures.
Kapoor also told the outlet the conflict affected some exits from the manager’s existing regional investments. He described the impact on longer-term plans as a “bump on the road.”
For the current fiscal year, Kapoor said Investcorp aims to raise at least $7 billion. He said the uneven timing of exits and capital calls makes annual AUM growth difficult to estimate. Kapoor linked fundraising pace to the manager’s size and range of businesses, saying it can shift capital raising among strategies. He expects a similar pace, pointing to the recurring cycle of fundraising.
