In a recent report by Complex, On June 3, @Pearliquee shared a TikTok video in which she encountered the Dreamville founder at a Tesla dealership in New York. According to her, the staff needed to pay more attention to Cole.
"J Cole & I shopping for teslas at the same time while the manager kept ignoring him bc he didn't know who he was & continued persuading me to place the order for the car," she stated.
In the one-minute TikTok video, Cole inspects the Tesla Cybertruck, a model purportedly priced at approximately $80,000. However, despite the TikTok video's caption, Cole appears to be accosted by two Tesla employees.
Additionally, @Pearliquee had the opportunity to converse with Cole, stating that the "7 Minute Drill" artist "was amused that my moms born in germany like him."
She continued, "i used to sing but not anymore so i didnt even bother mentioning my music industry side of me but he was nice and tall!"

In the verse in question, the Dreamville rapper discusses how a woman will be all over him in the boudoir. He goes on to assert that his bedroom talents are sufficient to convert the woman from a gay to a straight lifestyle.
"She gon' chew on this stick like it's Wrigley's / Mm, yеah, believe it or not likе Ripley's / She said she was gay until I slayed, now she strictly dickly," Cole raps.
Numerous individuals on X were disappointed by Cole's endeavor, asserting that it may be among the most unappealing verses of 2024.
"As one of J. Cole's biggest fans, I thought we were done with these types of bars," one person tweeted. Another said, "Holy shit that j cole feature is so bad."
Another individual criticized J. Cole's age and asserted that he is too elderly to be rapping in that manner, stating, "J. Cole just making fully sure he's no longer in the Big 3 conversation 39 years old btw."
Cole's debut guest appearance on "Grippy" marks his first since withdrawing from the Drake-Kendrick Lamar contest. During his performance at the 2024 Dreamville Festival, Cole apologized for disparaging Kendrick Lamar in his most recent mixtape, Might Delete Later.
