Innovations in the Kirin PC Chip
Weibo tipster @BeijingMaster (via Huawei Central) claims that in the next Kirin PC chip, Huawei will prioritize performance and thermal management. The computer's temperature may be better managed, and it could lead to more steady and productive operation.
It is anticipated that the Kirin PC processor will have lower power efficiency compared to the phone chipset. In the long run, this might be a huge problem for processors that run on computers.
Power Efficiency Concerns
A gadget is considered power efficient if it can complete a given task with little energy consumption or power loss. This guarantees a dependable user experience while also increasing the device's durability.
A previous rumor suggested that Huawei's PC chip could use the state-of-the-art Taishan V130 to achieve performance levels comparable to the Apple M3 processor. The M3, which debuted in October 2023, is the first desktop and laptop chipset to be built using a 3nm technology.
So yet, Huawei has remained mum on both the story and the PC dedicated processor.
Record Sales of Huawei-Powered Smart Cars
Along other Huawei-related news, HarmonyOS Smart has declared that sales of new smart cars powered by Huawei exceeded 30,000 units in May 2024. More than 15,000 AITO M9 cars have been supplied to the Chinese automobile industry by the IT giant.
The new electric vehicle sales hit 6,600 units in the first three days of May, according to an earlier report. Due to the high demand, sales of the new smart cars powered by Huawei have surpassed 30,000 units.
If we're talking about "new smart car" sales, the AITO M9 is head and shoulders above the competition, with 15,875 units sold. Along with 3,455 other units, Luxeed S7 is taking the platform by storm and expanding at a steady clip.
