SHANGHAI, China, Dec. 20, 2016 -- Wowo Limited (the “Company” or “JM Wowo”) (NASDAQ:JMU), a leading B2B online e-commerce platform that provides integrated services to suppliers and customers in the foodservice industry in China, today announced the results of its 2016 Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) which was held on December 15, 2016 in Shanghai, where it adopted the following resolutions, effective immediately:
- The change of company name to “JMU Limited”;
- The reelections of Mr. Jianguang Wu, Mr. Feng Pan and Dr. Gang Yu as directors of the Company.
The Company’s board of directors believes that the new name will better reflect its business scope since the divestiture of Wowo Group Limited, the Company’s group buying and other non-foodservice-related businesses.
