Jacquemus has officially revealed their Nike Air Force 1 sneaker collaboration and where to buy the new drop. The "J Force 1s" will be available on the Jacquemus website on June 13 and through Nike on June 20.
Jacquemus and Nike Unveil Chic New "J Force 1s," Combining Minimalist Design with Technical Elements
According to Rushh, Jacquemus has collaborated with fashion-forward labels such as Nike and Tekla to produce some of the season's most desirable accessories. However, Jacquemus and Nike have renewed their collaboration by formally unveiling visuals for an additional festive and delectably French iteration of a classic Nike sneaker silhouette this week.
A year ago, the brands' collaboration on the Air Humara sneaker in multiple colorways was an enormous success. The source said they anticipate that the Jacquemus Nike Air Force' J Force 1s' will be an equally covetable follow-up.
The "J Force 1s" have been rumored for some time, but the Jacquemus social media accounts have now provided our first official glimpse.
"I've always wanted to work on the Air Force 1, which is for me one of the most iconic Nike shoes, with a more chic and softer gaze. My ambition was to revisit the pair from a minimal standpoint, that allows it to be worn as a dress shoe with a suit. I've also been much inspired by climbing shoes, especially by the Nike Terra Ci ACG, that I have been collecting for years," conveys this to Simon Porte Jacquemus, the eponymous designer of the French fashion house.
"I also wanted to bring a woven, technical aspect to the silhouette, which can often be found throughout my collections. I liked the idea of separating the shoe in half and creating a puzzle on its unique assembly."
Which color options are offered?
The J Force 1 will offer three color options: white, silver, and red.
What characteristics does the shoe possess?
In this design, the windows of the Air Force units have been modified to be lengthier and more rectangular, in contrast to the Air Force's customary diminutive version.
A modified toe bumper—constructed of mesh for the silver and red sneakers and perforated leather for the white sneaker—contributes to the shoe's streamlined and angular appearance.
In addition to silver “JF1” embossed lace dubraes and Swoosh-branded leather aglets, a distinctive woven sole featuring circumferential nylon cording is complemented by miniature metallic Swooshes.
Where and when can I purchase them?
The "J Force 1" collaboration between Jacquemus and Nike is anticipated to be available for purchase on the Jacquemus website on June 13 and through Nike on June 20.
