“Jane the Virgin” season 5 is ending soon, and it should be noted that this is the show’s final run already. The series will bid goodbye with its last episode airing on July 31, as per Entertainment Weekly.
But before that, the happenings in “Jane the Virgin” season 5 get more interesting with Rafael and Jane finally calling it quits and settling just as friends and co-parent to their son Mateo. There are also lots of loose ends to tie up with just more than a month to go before the ending, so it is understandable why the story is picking up a bit.
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 12 is simply titled “Chapter Ninety-Three,” and it will show Rafael and Jane trying their best to find the best treatment for their son’s behavioral problem. Although they are seeing each other for their son’s welfare, it seems that their romance is really over when the former started to date again.
MSN mentioned that the synopsis for “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 12 reads: “After Rafael (Justin Baldoni) witnesses Mateo’s behavior at school, he wants to take a different approach to his treatment. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is paranoid that River (Brooke Shields) is plotting her revenge against him.”
Also, “Jane (Gina Rodriguez) convinces Petra (Yael Grobglas) to go on a single ladies’ night out after she learns that Rafael is dating.”
With Rafael back in the dating scene in “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 12, the love triangle between himself, Jane and Michael/Jason (Brett Dier) is definitely over. Mike’s memories have returned, and this made Jane finally see her husband resurfacing. He is becoming the Michael that he knew and married in the past, and this changed everything for Jane.
Rafael appeared to have totally given up on Jane and ready to find his new love. Though he is known to be secretive about his love life, he promised Jane that she would be the first to know if he has found someone.
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 12 also stars Andrea Navedo and Ivonne Coll. it will air on June 12 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW channel. Watch the preview below:
