‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 12, titled “Chapter Fifty-Six," is set to follow Jane’s tensions with her boss at work. She will find herself struggling between keeping or quitting her publishing job after she is offered a promising book deal. Meanwhile, chaos continues to strike the Marbella as Petra tries to keep Rafael’s family hotel afloat.
The synopsis for episode 12 posted on TV Guide states, “Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is offered a book deal and considers quitting her job. Meanwhile, a grisly discovery causes problems for the Marbella; Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) try to repair their friendship; Jane wants to find the source of her panic attacks; and the hotel lounge needs a manager.”
It seems that the upcoming episode will feature Jane’s continuing attempts to deal with issues at work as well as with her personal life, according to Cartermatt. She believes that all her prayers have finally been answered when she is offered a book deal and will need to figure out her next steps regarding her chosen path as a writer.
Jane will have to decide whether to keep her horrid publishing job or purse her dreams on her own and quit. She is also determined to find the real cause of her panic attacks.
The upcoming episode will also feature Jane’s parents Xo and Rogelio as they attempt to repair their relationship. It would be interesting to see if they manage to get back together after being estranged for so long.
Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Groblas) is working on setting things right at the Marbella as its reputation is at risk following a shocking discovery is found at the establishment. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will also find himself ready to take on the responsibilities at his family’s hotel. His first task would be to find the perfect person to manage the hotel lounge.
