Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are officially divorced after the court finalized their case last year. The two have also started dating already and have been co-parenting their three children without problems.
Jen and Ben really remained close friends despite going on their separate ways. When it comes to their own love life, the two also appeared to have no issues with it. In fact, when the former “Batman” actor was dating Lindsay Shookus and Playboy model Shauna Sexton, he was close in touch with Jennifer Garner.
Ben’s alleged jealousy over ex-wife’s rumored new romance
When the “Peppermint” actress was seeing businessman John Miller, Ben Affleck was also accepting of his ex-wife’s relationship. However, it seems that things have changed when New Idea claimed that the actor was boiling with jealousy when Jennifer Garner was recently spotted on a beach date with Bradley Cooper.
Earlier this month, the actress was photographed on a beach with the “A Star is Born” actor. It was speculated that the two were flirty and this sparked rumors that they are already dating.
As per New Idea, the two have been dating quietly for months now and their friends are said to be so thrilled with their romance. But then, someone is not happy about it and the publication wrote that it is Ben Affleck who appeared to be jealous.
“He was always a bit jealous of Jen and Brad’s connection during their Alias time together,” the unnamed source told the magazine. “Ben will be keeping a close eye on the situation but knows he's in no position to judge since Garner has been cool about his relationship with Ana de Armas.”
Friends turned lovers
The tipster went on to allege that Jennifer Garner and Cooper have been close even before they started dating. Thus, they are comfortable with their new relationship.
“They’ve always been at ease with each other, but now it’s deeper and they’re adorable together,” the tipster shared. “Their attraction to each other was always there, but they didn’t take that next step because they were always in a relationship with other people.”
The truth
It is true that Jen and Bradley were on a beach trip in Malibu earlier this month. They were pictured happy together with the latter’s 3-year-old daughter however Gossip Cop is dismissing the claim that Ben Affleck was jealous over this.
The publication added that the two have been divorced for two years and they both had been in relationships after their split thus, it is clear that Ben respects his ex-wife’s personal life and there was no jealousy since he too, is dating someone else. Plus, Jennifer Garner and Bradley are not dating so there is really nothing to be jealous about in the first place.
