John Hancock Investment Management said in a Nov. 2 release that the John Hancock Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (HTD) declared a $0.1580 November distribution, setting the amount and schedule for shareholders.

The fund’s record date and ex-dividend date are both Nov. 12. Payment is scheduled for Nov. 30. The record date determines which shareholders qualify for the distribution.

Under HTD’s managed distribution plan, the monthly amount stays at $0.1580 per share until the fund announces a change. The release lists net investment income and realized short- or long-term capital gains as possible funding sources, along with return of capital. It does not say how November’s payment will be divided among them.
