Liberty All-Star Equity Fund's Nov. 12 shareholder register will determine who qualifies for a $0.17-per-share payment on Jan. 4, 2027, with cash available to some investors.

USA is the New York Stock Exchange symbol for the closed-end investment company. Its policy targets annual distributions of about 10% of net asset value, delivered in four quarterly installments of 2.5% each. The fund's net asset total exceeded $2.1 billion on Oct. 30.

Newly issued shares are the fund's usual payment method. Shareholders outside its reinvestment plan can opt for cash.

The payout’s tax components may include capital gains or returned capital. The fund plans to classify its 2026 payouts for tax purposes after the year ends.
