It would appear that the “John Wick” franchise is smashing all expectations right now, starting with laying the beat down on “Avengers: Endgame” in terms of domestic box office sales. This is why it is no surprise that it was just announced how “John Wick 4” would be coming out in 2021. There is no doubt that it will feature even more revenge plotlines.
The debut of the third film in the franchise absolutely destroyed the figures set by the Marvel film, Variety reports. At $56 million in the domestic market, it’s clear that there are many in the country who can appreciate a good revenge story. With “John Wick 4” being about pretty much that exact same thing, it’s safe to say that the movie is going to do well, too.
On that matter, what exactly is going to be the story in “John Wick 4” and how could it possibly top the awesome action sequences in the third film? To start with, it’s likely to involve quite a bit of gunplay. There is a good chance that the upcoming flick is going to be the last in the series, so the folks behind would likely go all-out.
Keanu Reeves will be doing even more dangerous stunts, and there will be plenty of dead people by the end of it. In fact, it would not be surprising if “John Wick 4” ends with everyone dead or dying since it feels like it could be that kind of film.
Of course, nothing is confirmed, at the moment. There is no doubt that the directors and writers are already working hard to make this movie something that would be a worthy addition to the franchise. That is why the May 21, 2021 release date of “John Wick 4” is a day worth keeping in mind.
