Jungkook turned 22 on Sept. 1 and he celebrated with his fans in a meaningful way. While he should be receiving gifts, the youngest BTS member also made sure to give something in return for the love that he is receiving from his fans.
A special birthday song
A day before his birthday, he surprised everyone with a new song. He released the track via Twitter and it currently has more than eight million views, 1.6 million likes, and at least 165,000 comments. Along with the audio clip, Jungkook also posted a photo of himself and thanked the fans for their endless support.
“Thank you for making me happy,” he wrote as a caption to his photo. As can be heard, it is an English song that Jungkook composed and he asked his fans to wait for it. Perhaps, he is referring to the full version that his company will be releasing soon?
Greeting from Justin Bieber
Aside from the fans, and his BTS co-members like RM, J-Hope, Jin, and Suga, Jungkook was also surprisingly greeted by “Love Yourself” singer Justin Bieber. “Happy bday #JUNGKOOK . They ain’t ready :) now watch this tweet go crazy,” Hailey Baldwin’s husband wrote.
This tweet was also retweeted by Jungkook and it sparked rumors of a collaboration between the two artists. Then again, there were fans who did not like Biebs post and they asked if that was really a birthday wish.
Fans' charity gift
Meanwhile, the fans gifted Jungkook with a charitable event. In honor of his 22nd birthday, the ARMYs organized a drive for planting trees in the Amazon that has been ravaged by fire. The One in an ARMY charity project presented the “We Purple Earth” to help contribute for a better tomorrow. With every $1 donation, they will plant 1 tree. The project is also promoting recycling, picking up trash and more for greener earth.

The group already raised funds to plant 8,000 trees and this was only for two days since the campaign began. They are expecting more donations and fans are hoping that Jungkook will really be very proud of this gift.
