Jungkook and the rest of the BTS band just returned from their month-long hiatus and their first schedule is a shoot overseas. On Sept. 16, returning from their short break, the group was spotted at the Incheon International Airport and they were said to be heading for filming but it was not disclosed if it is for a music video or something else.
At their first appearance in public, fans noticed many changes in Jungkook and this include his new hairdo. He sports a hairstyle with long curly bangs that were parted in the middle. Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that he has tattoos on his hand and the word “ARMY” is visible.
The changes in Jungkook after the BTS break
The 22-year-old idol singer has new piercing as well thus he has more earrings now as can be seen in the video taken at the airport. As for the tattoos, fans wonder if this is permanent or not but they are mostly supporting his choices. They said that Jungkook reached the point when he can already do anything he likes even if he is an idol and he’s grown up too so they are accepting of these changes in his physical appearance.
The dating rumor
Jungkook’s new tattoos also caused controversies after the tattoo artist who supposedly did the job for the idol was rumored to be his girlfriend. This surfaced after a leaked CCTV showed them together in a restaurant. Big Hit Entertainment already denied the news and the woman also issued her own statement to clear up the misunderstandings.
Jungkook’s trendsetting fashion
Allkpop reported that Jungkook’s previous airport fashion where he dons on a modernized hanbok is now a hit not just for the BTS fans but for celebrities as well. Many personalities are appearing on shows wearing the same thing that the singer wore a few months ago and they acknowledged that they got the inspiration from Jungkook.
Some of the TV stars who wore the exact same outfit was Jun Hyun Moo. He wore it at his “TMI News” idol show and even soccer star Park Joon Ho also wore it on “Return of Superman” and mentioned that his outfit is the same as what BTS wore and said that it is famous.
