Jungkook's destiny: K-pop idol’s mother predicted the success of BTS in conception dreams?

It has now become very clear that Jungkook and the other members of BTS are some of the most successful pop idols all over the world. In a conversation with fans, the youngest BTS member shared that her mother had a more recent conception dream that could be related to the group.

Jungkook’s mother’s dream

For years now, dreams remain one of the most interesting topics that even science cannot fully explain yet. In other fields, it is believed that dreams could be the universe’s way to communicate people’s destiny. So when Jungkook recently shared her mother’s conception dream, fans are understandably interested in what it could mean.

Conception dreams (known as taemong in Korea) have been believed, especially in several Asian countries, to predict a child’s destiny or its gender. These are widely associated with mothers or to people close to them. When BTS held a meeting with their fans, Jungkook shared that her mother had a second conception dream where she saw seven black piglets being fed by its mother.

Jungkook, whose real name is Jeon Jung Kook, only has one older brother. So when he shared his mother’s dream, Jimin was quick to suggest that the piglets’ mother in the dream could be Big Hit Entertainment boss Bang Si Hyuk. The seven piglets, on the other hand, is being interpreted as the seven members of BTS. Even though it is Jimin’s personal analogy of the dream, the coincidence of having seven piglets in the dream makes it very interesting.

Conception dream likely predicted Jungkook’s own success

This is not the first time Jungkook shared his mother’s dreams. Back in 2016, ahead of his 19th birthday, he was asked what his mother’s conception dream about him was. “Rain started to fall in a village but the places that got touched by the raindrops spread into gold,” Jungkook said in an interview with Focus News (via Soompi).

Meanwhile, last month, Jungkook appeared in another conception dream only this time it was for a different mother. Korean TV personality Oh Sang Jin shared that his wife had a taemong with Jungkook in it. The K-pop idol was riding an elephant in the dream while holding a pair of clean white shoes. In the dream, he also offered the shoes to the actress and expectant mother, Kim So Young, who Oh said has been an avid fan of BTS.
