In celebration of National Fried Chicken Day, fast-food giant KFC has unveiled its own merchandise shop at KFCShop.com, offering fans an array of KFC-branded items. The shop launched with more than 20 items available, featuring vintage and modern apparel, accessories, and more.
Fans can find the new shop at KFCShop.com and purchase various items, including vintage and modern clothing pieces, accessories, and other items. The restaurant chain said that the shop is debuting with more than 20 items available for sale.
KFC will be adding more later as it updates the site regularly. For starters, the company will offer the limited-edition "Ultimate Summer Collection," and people can buy sandals, a bucket hat, a beach towel, a tumbler, a koozie, a pair of Shady Rays sunglasses, and many more. In any case, KFC partnered with Ink Branded to create the new KFC collection.
The items are also available for delivery and are free for online or mobile app transactions until Sunday, July 9. According to Restaurant Business, the Ultimate Summer Collection is composed of items paired with KFC's new Ultimate BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich, which is only offered by the chain until Aug. 13.
Lately, KFC has been exerting more efforts in its marketing activities, and prior to the launch of its merchandise shop, it has been promoting its brands via a collaboration with Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. The fried chicken store is in more than 150 countries, and to date, it operates over 28,000 store outlets.
"We wanted to celebrate summer with our customers this year," KFC US' chief marketing officer, Nick Chavez, said in a press release. "This new collection has it all - outfit sets, varsity jackets, slides, and the brand favorite, bucket hat. That's a finger-lickin' good National Fried Chicken Day."
