The website Comic Natalie also reported that “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2 was announced at the Yangjang Cultural Festival last Oct. 19 in Tokyo. Meanwhile, fans will have to be more patient for other important updates, including the release date of the next season.
It is very likely that “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2 was still in the very early stages of production when the announcements were released. But many are expecting the new episodes to arrive sometime in 2020. Fans will also be delighted to know that the key persons who worked on the first season will be returning to produce “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2.
‘Kaguya-Sama: Love is War’ season 2 plot, spoilers: Will Shinomiya and Miyuki finally confess?
It also would not hurt for fans to support the manga series and read through the events that follow the first season’s ending. But those who prefer to wait for the new episodes should expect Kaguya and Miyuki to continue the mind games in “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2. The ultimate is to manipulate the other person into confessing their love.
“Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2 will most likely open with the start of a new semester where the students will have to pick their electives. The first challenge for Kaguya and Miyuki is to figure out how they could be classmates without asking each other about their choices because that would mean they are interested and could lead to a confession.
‘Kaguya-Sama: Love is War’ season 2 confirmation was not a surprise
It took a while before “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2 was announced, but it also did not come as a total surprise considering the success of the live-action movie in the Japan box office and the anime’s Blu-ray/DVD sales. It was an announcement that most fans have seen coming.
