Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been together for nearly six years. However, the pair still haven’t officially confirmed that they are indeed a couple even though they attended the recently concluded Met Gala 2019.

So if not for confirmation, why did Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx decided to show up together during the gathering? Apparently, the duo is weary of going out of their way to secretly meet in public and wanted to lay down that particular hassle once and for all, E! reported.

“[Katie Homles and Jamie Foxx] still don't want to have a public relationship, but it was a lot of effort to keep things under wraps and never be able to go out together. The burden of that has been lifted and they are feeling a lot more free to just go out and do normal things,” the tipster told E!

Of course, other gossip outlets have a different take on the matter. As the rumors would have it, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx attending the Met Gala were due to the “Dawson Creek” alum carrying the child of the “Django” actor, New Idea (via Gossip Cop) reported.

Upon the article’s publication, Gossip Cop contacted the actress’ rep who apparently laughed upon hearing the claim. This isn’t the first time that pregnancy rumors have plagued Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx and it’s safe to say it wouldn’t be the last.

As for New Idea, it has proven itself on multiple occasions that it’s not a reliable source of information since it has published several bogus articles in the past. For instance, it claimed last month that Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were having a spat due to the young teen wanting to see her father, Tom Cruise. That proved to be a fabricated story as nothing ever came from that narrative more than a month later. The fact of the matter is that there are only a few people who are privy to the relationship of the actress and Jamie Foxx’s relationship, a formula that has worked wonders for the stars for years.
