Katie Holmes is reportedly shelling out thousands for a makeover. The reason for her sudden desire to stay sexy and pretty? She allegedly does not want Jamie Foxx to leave her.
However, Gossip Cop debunked the reports that Katie Holmes wants to impress Jamie Foxx to keep him interested in her. The publication noted that the tabloid Life & Lifestyle published a write-up on July 16 and it stated that Katie Holmes is insecure because her boyfriend supposedly does not find her attractive anymore. Because of this, she allegedly “ditched her dowdy dungarees and frumpy hats and stepped out in a sexy off-the-shoulder bodice top and shorts.”
But Gossip Cop pointed out that the source being referred to in the report may not exist. And even the so-called friends of Jamie were not identified, so there is nothing to prove the claims.
In another report by the same tabloid, a supposed source said, “It’s not that Jamie’s friends dislike Katie. It’s just that they think she’s too straitlaced for him. And that’s reflected in her look and style.”
With those words, Katie Holmes was said to have immediately gone shopping to change her whole wardrobe and opted for body-hugging outfits, just like the ones usually worn by women when Jamie Foxx attends parties.
The fact-checking magazine stated that there is no proof of Katie Holmes' sudden shopping spree. Also, the “Dawson’s Creek” star’s representative previously told Gossip Cop that the claims are false.
Clearly, the reports were made up and were only published to gain attention. In any case, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx seem to be going strong despite the endless stories that they have already broken up or are at odds due to numerous reasons, including Foxx’s supposed womanizing.
