Katie Holmes is said to be leaving her home in New York City and live in the countryside instead. The reports state that the actress decided to change her lifestyle and settle for the “small-town” way of living so she can be healthy and enjoy a quiet life.
Why Holmes is moving
Radar Online reported that the 41-year-old “Dawson’s Creek” star is set to find a new home in the country but where exactly is not determined yet. A source reportedly told the outlet that Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise agreed on the decision as the two of them have become more health-conscious.
They now think that living in the city is not healthy because it is always hectic in the metropolis. The mother and daughter deduced that living away from NYC is the best solution, so they are moving.
“As Katie and Suri both get older and progressively more health-conscious, Katie’s starting to recognize that living in an intense, bustling metropolis like Los Angeles or New York is simply not great for their health or their mental well-being,” the insider supposedly told Radar.
Someone influenced the actress to move - Who is it?
It was revealed that Katie Holmes began to think about living in the country after getting some advice from her “Dawson’s Creek” co-star, James Van Der Beek’s wife, Kimberly. It was claimed that Kim convinced the actress by explaining that pollution, noise, and stress are big contributing factors as to why people get ill and worn out.
“This is actually the exact advice Kimberley preaches to a lot of her celebrity clients and friends,” the source further said. “If you’re getting sick and run down a lot, it probably has something to do with living in the city, and you need to experiment with getting away from the traffic, the pollution, the politics and the unwanted attention you get as a celebrity in a big city.”
Gossip Cop refuted this story by calling the report “ridiculous.” the publication pointed out that when Katie Holmes first moved to New York City, she mentioned that she loves it there because she likes the theater and everything else in her neighborhood. Even the simple things like talking to her neighbors in the elevator make her happy thus, there is no truth that she now prefers to live in the country.
