Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged on Valentine’s day last year and they were planning to get married in Winter 2019 but for some reason, the nuptials had to be delayed. They then set another date which is June 2020 but unfortunately, they had to reschedule it again due to the Coronavirus outbreak that is currently threatening the world.
Pregnancy announcement
The Daily Mail reported that Perry and Bloom finalized their wedding ceremony that was supposed to take place in Japan this June but since there is a threat to everyone due to the virus, they decided to put it on hold for now. Then again, it was not the postponement of their nuptials that is currently headlining various media outlets today but it was the singer’s pregnancy!
"It was all set for Japan with 150 guests," a tipster told the paper. "Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant."
Yes, Katy Perry is confirmed pregnant with her first child with the 43-year-old actor and she announced it to the public via social media. On March 5, Katy Perry updated her Instagram with a short clip of her new song “Never Worn White” and she showed her baby bump. She also gained weight and it shows in the music video teaser.
What’s more, Perry held an Instagram Live to personally confirm to the fans that she is expecting. She further shared that her pregnancy is probably the longest secret she ever had to keep in her life and she and Orlando are really excited to see their little who is coming this summer.
“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer,” she said. “Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for. So let’s just call it a double whammy. It’s a two-for.”
