‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 12’s episode 20, entitled “Controversies & Legacies”, will follow Kim as she admits wanting to explore surrogacy. Kim also revealed in the previous episode that she had anxiety issues.
The brief promo for episode 20 posted on E! opens to Kim telling her mom Kris, “So I’ve come to the conclusion that I just want to explore surrogacy.” Kris’ jaw drops as she is obviously surprised by the news.
The 36-year old reality television star and socialite already has two children with husband Kanye West, namely daughter North West and son Saint West. It seems that Kim is looking to have a third child through alternative means.
According to Earn the Necklace, Kim struggled with preeclampsia on her first two pregnancies, which were considered high-risk. She had been very candid about her pregnancy difficulties saying that she and pregnancy didn’t mix. She had to deliver North prematurely, specifically at 34 weeks, because of early-onset preeclampsia.
Although her pregnancy with Saint was also high-risk, she was able to control her preeclampsia with her doctors’ help. She swore never to get pregnant again after that.
Meanwhile in the preceding episode, entitled “Lord of the Cougars", Kendall revealed that she suffers from a condition called sleep paralysis. Kim also admitted that she has anxiety issues. According to People, she told her friend Jonathan Cheban, “I’ve been having anxiety lately… I am not this person.”
She then told her mom about her and Kendall’s conditions to which Kris replied, “When you get into your own head it’s scary and you don’t want to let it get to the next step… That’s debilitating… and you can’t live life.”
Kim admitted that her anxiety heightens when she’s driving. She said, “I think about it all the time, it drives me crazy… I just want to get passed my anxiety and live life… I never had anxiety and I want to take back my life.”
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 12’s episode 20, entitled “Controversies & Legacies”, is scheduled to premiere on E! on November 13, 2016.
