The release of “Kingdom Hearts 3” is still a long way away, having been confirmed for launch early next year. However, more and more details about the game are being provided every day. There was a new trailer that was recently released, for example, which puts the focus on Mickey Mouse. The list of confirmed worlds that will be featured in the game has also grown.
A new promotional trailer was released that is intended to celebrate one of the series’ most iconic characters: Mickey Mouse. As in past games, the famous Disney character will be making an appearance in “Kingdom Hearts 3” as King Mickey, who is a skilled key blade wielder. The short clip is a heartwarming production, highlighting some of the iconic character’s most memorable moments in the franchise.
As Game Rant recently noted, the exact role that Mickey will play in “Kingdom Hearts 3” has not been confirmed. In the first two main games in the franchise, the Disney character played an important role in keeping the darkness at bay. With the upcoming title being the third installment to the legendary franchise, it’s only fitting that King Mickey should also play a pivotal role.
For more concrete details regarding “Kingdom Hearts 3,” the list of the worlds that will be featured has grown quite a bit. This list includes the worlds of popular Disney properties like Frozen, Tangled, Toy Story, and Big Hero 6, the Daily Star reports. This list could get longer as the release date comes closer.
“Kingdom Hearts 3” is scheduled for release on Jan. 29, 2019. It’s intended for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and will serve as the final installment to this legendary series. Fans will want to take note of that date and one can only hope that it won’t be pushed back again, as it was in the past.
