Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is conducting a trial of refillable on-the-go solutions at a convenience store in Sweden to test consumers’ response to the containers and their potential to reduce waste.
The trial, launched in Reitan Convenience’s PBX store, is in collaboration with Swedish company Glacial, a manufacturer of reusable stainless steel tumblers that keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours.
Consumers are encouraged to buy a refillable container to place over 60 beverage flavors from brands, such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, FuzeTea, and Smartwater.
The program aims to let consumers recognize the possibility of reducing waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
