Russia will continue military operations as officials prepare for discussions with Ukraine and the United States, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Anadolu Agency reported.
Anadolu said the trilateral discussions are planned for Abu Dhabi during November. Moscow has no plans to halt its operations before the meeting, the agency reported, but it gave no specific day.
Anadolu reported that Peskov opposed a ceasefire, citing a TASS report that quoted him describing it as a potential “respite” for Ukraine.
Peskov previously said a decision to resume talks would not constrain Russian military operations, a position covered in EconoTimes’ earlier report on Moscow’s approach to talks.
Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov also said Russia was ready to resume trilateral talks after Nov. 4, according to EconoTimes’ earlier account of the readiness window. Anadolu’s latest report names Abu Dhabi as the planned venue but gives no meeting day.
