Krispy Kreme Debuts Ghostbusters Collection with Themed Doughnuts and Neon Drink Starting October 7
Krispy Kreme is about to turn this Halloween season into an extraordinary event with an exclusive launch of Ghostbusters-inspired doughnuts. This unique celebration of the iconic 1984 film's 40th anniversary is a treat reserved for our most loyal fans. From October 7, you will be the first to experience the Krispy Kreme x Ghostbusters Collection, a limited-time offering featuring four themed doughnuts and a glowing neon drink.
The star of the collection is the Ghostbusters Cookies N' Creme Doughnut. It's a delightful twist on our classic glazed doughnut, dipped in rich chocolate icing and generously topped with Oreo cookie crumbles, Oreo buttercream, and the iconic "No Ghost" logo. This doughnut promises a delightful blend of crunchy and creamy textures that will leave you craving more.
Next is the Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut, made with the original glazed base, dipped in orange icing, and decorated with vibrant neon sprinkles to match the festive Halloween theme.
Krispy Kreme Honors Ghostbusters with Slimer and Stay Puft Doughnuts, Plus Neon Green Slime-ade Drink
Two doughnuts in the collection pay homage to the film’s famous ghosts. The Slimer Doughnut features lemon filling and purple icing and is topped with green slime-shaped icing and a Slimer candy piece. On the other hand, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart is a playful and entertaining creation. It uses glazed doughnut dots to form the body of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, complete with marshmallow-flavored buttercream and candy details.
Slimer's Slime-ade, a neon-green twist on lemonade, rounds out the collection. This drink option offers a spooky and refreshing alternative to accompany these ghoulish treats.
The original Ghostbusters film, starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver, became a cultural phenomenon in 1984, grossing $300 million at the box office. Now, fans can relive the nostalgic ghostbusting fun while indulging in these limited-edition doughnuts and drinks.
