SAN DIEGO, Oct. 10, 2017 -- LM Capital Group (www.lmcapital.com) is pleased to welcome Deborah Watkins, Economist, as well as Cheryl King, Senior Vice President, Business Development, and Peter Capotosto, Vice President, Business Development. These additions underscore LM Capital’s ongoing commitment to the expansion of the firm, particularly in the areas of research and building new client, consultant, and adviser alliances. Ms. Watkins, Ms. King, and Mr. Capotosto will be based at the firm’s San Diego headquarters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Watkins worked as a consultant for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in France and as an analyst for the economic and financial consulting firm Cornerstone Research. She has also lectured on the economics of Mexico at the University of California, San Diego. Ms. Watkins received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a doctoral candidate at the University of California, San Diego.

An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Ms. King was the former Head of Marketing and Consultant Relations at Symphony Asset Management (SAM). Before joining SAM, she was Managing Director in charge of business development at Symphony Financial Partners and has held similar positions at Victory Capital Management, Dresdner RCM Global Investors, and Fidelity Investments. She is also a former board member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and past advisory member for the Institutional Investor Roundtables. Ms. King received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Mr. Capotosto was previously a Regional Director, External Wholesaler at SEI Investments and before that, a Regional Vice President, External Wholesaler with Mirae Asset Global Investments. He also held various consulting, sales, and client servicing positions at BlackRock Investments and Reich and Tang Asset Management. Mr. Capotosto earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Pace University in New York.
