KEMP, Texas, April 24, 2018 -- Leader in industrial lighting, Larson Electronics LLC, released an Energy Efficient 3 Phase Transformer that provides operators with a powerful, reliable and environmentally friendly. This 3-phase transformer features critical equipment failure protection and greatly lowers operating and ownership costs, as well as reduces heat emissions. This heavy-duty ventilated transformer is IP24 rated and ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The MT-PMD-3P-34500D-1000KVA-13800Y.7970-N3R 34500D 3 phase energy efficient heavy-duty ventilated transformer from Larson Electronics, is a powerful and durable transformer with a 1000kVA rating. This 3-phase unit has primary 34500V Delta voltage, and 13800Y/7970 Wye-N secondary voltage. This general-purpose transformer runs very efficiently, impacting the environment less than traditional units. Lower heat emissions mean this transformer requires less cooling, which in turn lowers operational costs. The precision cut aluminum winding material also helps improve performance, and close tolerances used during manufacturing eliminate burrs that can further hinder performance.
The cores of the MT-PMD-3P-34500D-1000KVA-13800Y.7970-N3R 34500D are robustly constructed of non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations, made with state of the art technology. Each core in this unit is coated to prevent buildup of moisture and are electrically balanced which minimizes axial forces during short circuit situations. This unit also features Class H 220°C insulation with a 55°C temperature rise. The MT-PMD-3P-34500D-1000KVA-13800Y.7970-N3R is filled with Standard Type II Mineral Oil, has an oil capacity of 450 gallons and has an oil level gauge. Additionally, the Standard Type 3R enclosure is IP24 rated making it suitable for indoor and outdoor uses, either mounted to the wall, or placed on the floor.
“This 3-phase transformer is a really great unit for basically any general application, indoor and outdoor,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “Because of its high energy efficiency, it can save operators a lot of money, while providing exceptional service and power.”
