KEMP, Texas, April 09, 2018 -- Larson Electronics LLC, industrial lighting leader, has just released a new explosion proof LED strobe beacon light that is UL and CSA listed for Class I Division 1 and 2, Class II Division 1 and 2 and Class III, suitable for wet locations. This explosion proof LED strobe comes in a variety of colors making it useful as an indicator light or warning beacon among other applications, and is available in high and low voltage configurations.
The EPL-HBMN-10-STRB-C explosion proof LED strobe light is a durable lighting solution ideal for use in chemical plants and other hazardous locations where ignitable materials are present in the atmosphere. This high output fixture produces 1050 lumens at just 10 watts, providing operators with an efficient and powerful strobing light for warning or indication purposes. The EPL-HBMN-10-STRB-C comes in red, blue, green, amber, purple and white, and is available in standard 120-277V AC or 11-25V AC/DC for operators who need a low voltage solution. The fixture can be pendant, or wall mounted.
This LED strobing beacon is UL and CSA Listed for Class 1, Division 1 & 2 Groups A, B, C, and D, Class 2, Division 1 & 2 Groups E, F and G, and Class III. The fixture is factory sealed making it suitable for wet environments where moisture and corrosive atmospheres are present. This explosion proof LED has numerous protective features including: specially formulated two-coat baked epoxy enamel that protects the copper free aluminum housing, high temperature, glass-reinforced phenolic socket with a collector ring and pin for automatic electrical contact upon threading, and heat and impact resistant glass globes. To make this fixture Class 1 Groups A and B listed, a sintered metal flame arrestor has been added.
