LeBron James has secured additional equity in Fenway Sports Group (FSG) as part of a lifetime deal between Fenway Sports Management (FSM) and his LRMR Ventures investment firm.
The deal ensures that FSM will be able to pursue global marketing and sponsorship opportunities for the 38-year-old NBA great throughout his lifetime.
James joined FSG as a partner in 2021 with an initial one percent stake.
FSG owns English soccer giants Liverpool, MLB’s Boston Red Sox, and the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
James already owns a two percent stake in Liverpool before becoming an FSG partner.
