TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 27, 2016 -- Learning A-Z®, a leading provider of PreK–6 literacy-focused products and a division of Cambium Learning® Group, Inc., announced today that the company will provide complimentary six-month subscriptions of its award-winning reading product, Raz-Kids, to Louisiana school districts severely impacted by historic flooding in August.
With complimentary access to Raz-Kids using an internet-connected computer or mobile device, flood-affected students will have greater access to developmentally appropriate content to practice reading skills. The product provides a library of interactive eBooks and corresponding eQuizzes at 29 levels of difficulty that students use to practice and improve their reading skills.
“At Learning A-Z, we are committed to providing the resources teachers and students need to be successful,” said Bob Holl, president and cofounder of Learning A-Z. “We were all deeply saddened to see how many communities and schools were devastated by the recent historic flooding across Louisiana. By providing Raz-Kids for free to the districts most heavily impacted by the flood, we hope to bring back a small amount of normalcy and routine to their students and teachers.”
Learning A-Z representatives are currently reaching out to schools impacted by Louisiana's severe flooding to set up the complimentary subscriptions for their classrooms and students. The company plans to have flood-affected districts using Raz-Kids by next month.
