‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2’s episode 5, entitled “Compromised”, will feature the return of villain Damien Darhk. The incoming episode is set in the 1980s during President Reagan’s time.
The synopsis for episode 5 posted on Carter Matt stated, “When the Legends trace a timequake to President Ronald Reagan’s White House, they are shocked to discover their old enemy Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) is now a Senior Adviser to Reagan. As the team works to uncover what Darhk has up his devious sleeve, Sara (Caity Lotz) struggles with the choice of getting revenge or helping with the team’s larger mission.
Thinking that the JSA members could be of help, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) break into the JSA and are surprised at what they find. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) tries to prevent his younger self from creating an even bigger time Abberation.”
The promo opens to the team finding themselves in the 1980s after tracing a timequake. They are at the President Reagan’s White House for a new mission. There is also a brief scene that showed the return of the villain Damien Darhk while Rex’s killer is also referenced as present in the timeline.
In the next scene, Ray (Brandon Routh) warns everyone, “There’s a bomb in the premises.” The team then races against time to stop the destruction of the White House while battling a host of enemies, presumably under Damien’s command.
It would be interesting to see how Damien managed to get into the White House and earn himself a Senior Advisor position for President Reagan. The villain was last seen defeated by Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow following H.I.V.E.’s attack of Star City on its attempt to execute Operation Genesis. He has been one of the most prominent members of the Legion of Doom featured on the series.
Meanwhile, Amaya and Nate break into the Justice Society of America headquarters thinking that the organization may be able to help with their mission, according to International Business Times. However, they may be unprepared for what they will find.
‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2’s episode 5, entitled “Compromised”, is scheduled to premiere on The CW on November 10, 2016. It was directed by David Geddes and written by Keto Shimizu and Grainne Godfree.
